Far and wide they’ll come to a stop, they’ll stare in awe, in wonder. Dawn and dusk take turns calling, “Come and worship.” Psalm 65:8 Message
I am a morning girl. The gentle caress of a quiet start and the soothing warmth of a cup of coffee speak volumes to this heart of mine. It is no wonder that when the glow of dawn kisses a darkened sky, I feel God most near.
In the awakening of another day, I once again have an opportunity to gather breath and life for His glory. As the gentle spark of sun rises to the roaring blaze of day, life mimics.
I am carried in its torrents and too often I am lost in its rage. I need these “stopping” moments when I can see God in my whirlwind.
It is a necessary pause. Within its hesitation, grace and mercy overflow. In this flood of Living Water, I am reminded of the One who brings forth breath and life.
This is my place to remember the “God-stops” of life – to stare in awe and in wonder.
